What to Expect

You are welcome and invited to join us for our Sunday morning services and Bible Studies. Our Sunday worship services begin at 11:30 a.m.

Services

Our community is multi-ethnic and inter-generational, and we come from various church backgrounds. From 11:15 to 11:30AM we have time for fellowship over coffee, tea, and snacks. Our worship service then begins at 11:30 with a call to worship, usually based on a passage of Scripture, followed by congregational singing. We sing both modernized hymns and contemporary songs, alternating between the English and Spanish language. After we sing, we dismiss the children to their Sunday School programming (Sevilla Kids). The sermon that follows, delivered in both English and Spanish, will explain and apply the Scriptural text of that morning. We conclude with announcements and a benediction. After the service, there is an opportunity to give an offering, which supports the ministry of the church as a form of worship.

Bible Studies

We have just launched our biweekly Sunday Bible Study at 9:30am, working our way through the Book of Ecclesiastes, with the intention of developing this gathering into future weekly services and a distinctly English congregation. If you would like to form part of this missional project or would like to help start a church, consider joining us! Contact us at info[at]sevillachapel.org

Our Spanish-language Bible Studies are every Wednesday night at 7:00pm, we are presently studying the 1689 Baptist Confession, Church Membership, and Reforming Marriage.
